Newbie : the Let's Go to the Hop Wreath
Whilst it is available (which isn't long), hops woven around a willow hoop, look fabulous as they dry out to form a unique door or wall wreath in your home. You will learn how to creative the ring from willow rods and then decorate with fresh hops, dried seedpods and some gypsophila if desired.

Hydrangea & Willow Hearts and Wreaths
During this seasonal workshop, you will learn how to create a heart or ring shape from willow rods which you will go on to decorate with dried hydrangea flowers with the option to add a string of fairy lights, some fresh gypsophila both at an extra costs and other embellishments available on the day (at an extra cost)

Floral Cupcakes
A lovely workshop for all ages, not too long, with beautiful results. You will learn how to create little floral designs in an oasis cupcake which can be used again quite a few times so you can perfect your newly acquired skills at home. You can choose to make small or large cupcakes - a mix of both is fine. Duration of workshop: Approx. 90 minutes Cost of workshop: £25 (small cupcake) £45 (large cupcake) Suitable for: All ages and abilities
Ceramic Egg Floral Design
The beauty of this cleverly designed ceramic "vase" is in its versatility. It can be displayed inside or outside and comes with a metal chain with clipped hook for safe display when hanging but sits equally well on the table or in so many situations in the home. I will teach you to make a simple design in biodegradable foam using floristry techniques but will also talk you through many alternatives for this design, including planted designs. Floral Design in a Basket
This workshop teaches many floristry skills with which to continue designing at home and in different vessels. Choosing from a variety of baskets, you will be individually taught how to create a design within it depending on where you wish to display it in your home or garden. Duration of workshop: 2 hours, 30 minutes Cost of workshop: £60 Suitable for: All abilities
Flower Crowns
This seasonal workshop aimed to teach a little willow work and some floristry skills, whilst providing a whole lot of fun and the option of having a mini photo shoot (no charge but charitable donation to ARC Axminster very much apprecaited) at the end to celebrate your creative skills. I will show you how to make a willow crown which you will take home with you to use over and over again - as a head crown or a wreath. I will then teach you how to wire flowers and foliage to attach to your crown. Whether you are planning to create a floral crown for your own event (perhaps a future wedding?), whether you use this workshop as a hen party, birthday celebration or an "I love being in my unique bubble" celebration, you will experience a few hours of creativity in peaceful, safe and homely surroundings. DETAILS OF HOW WORKSHOPS WILL RUN You are requested to keep an eye on your health on the days leading up to and the morning of the workshop - if anyone attending the workshop has a temperature or any symptoms which may indicate C-19 please do let me know if you will need to postpone the workshop, giving me as much notice as possible - 24 hours is obligatory.
Where fresh flowers from Cornwall are being used in the workshop we will have to discuss prior to booking any charges necessary to cover their cost should you need to postpone,
When you enter my home (you and I will be wearing face masks, please) you will be lead through to my workshop room and requested to use your own hand sanitiser or visit the downstairs' shower room in order to wash your hands before taking your place at the table. Individual hand towels will be available. I will have my own workstation in the adjoining kitchen, several metres away, from which I will demonstrate - I will wear a shield during the demonstration and request that you wear a mask until you return to your table.
I will remain at my workstation to provide help throughout the workshop - you may visit me individually and masked for help and I am happy to wander around seated students periodically offering help and advice provided always that both you and I are masked.
You will be offered hot/cold drinks and homebaked treats. All cups, glasses and crockery will be taken straight from the dishwasher and I will wear gloves to make and serve refreshments.
