I am happy to run workshops from my home, your home and any venue within a reasonable distance from Sidmouth. I can teach on a one to one basis or up to groups of 25. I have lots of suggested workshops which have been tried and tested but am always willing to create one to your specifications if there is any area of floristry that would like to cover. Below is a list of workshops I often run and below that a list of timetabled workshops which is added to regularly and tweaked where necessary.
New to my repertoire will be luxury workshops and a selection of collaborative workshops with Vegan Organic Skincare of Babbacombe.
Please note that, whilst I have a wealth of enthusiasm for teaching and a huge collection of happy reviews from my students, I am not a qualified teacher, just a very dedicated floral designer with an immense love of what she does and willingness to show others how some of it is done!
Do feel free to get in touch with any questions or to devise your own workshop - be it for hen party, a birthday gift, a family get together.

BEAT THE BLUES - JANUARY WORKSHOP
Come and join me for this impromptu workshop on Sunday 23rd January chez-moi - it will run from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Time to enjoy a breakfast before leaving home and a roast dinner when you return there? My willow heart with dried hydrangeas workshop, was the first I designed and taught and it has proven to be one of my most popular. For 2022 I am taking it to a new level. During this three hour long workshop you will learn how to make a large willow heart using 6 foot long willow rods from the Somerset Levels. You will then proceed to festoon it with tiny rice lights - so delicate and subtle, but wait until you see the effect they have on the dried petals of the hand gathered hydrangeas which will be artistically and carefully attached to your heart. Once completed, you will have the chance to further embellish your willow heart should you wish to. My home-based workshops accommodate up to six students - all spaced apart (or together if you are in a group and prefer it that way) with lots of heat, lots on fresh air and my undivided attention. I also set up a little "shop" of artisan products which might be of interest for little luxury gifts (I do not take a commission on these, am simply happy to promote bespoke and beautiful creations from small family businesses). Home baked treats and drinks are included in the cost of your workshop. You will, however inexperienced or unartistic you feel you are, take home a beautifully handcrafted by you florally adorned willow heart that you would pay more than the price of the workshop for were you to buy it from an artisan shop (or from me!) Please note that it is a pre-requisite to take a covid test before attending this workshop - in the interests of keeping everybody attending it as safe as possible during these unprecedented times.
