I am happy to run workshops from my home, your home or any venue within a reasonable distance from Sidmouth.   Prices vary from workshop to workshop depending on the materials used, the duration of the workshop, the number of people attending, etc.  Most workshops are three hours long with an average price of around £60.  They can be taught on a one-to-one basis or in groups of up to 25.  Many make fun and creative workshops for hen or birthday parties etc.  Please get in touch if you would like me to arrange one specifically for you.

Please note that, whilst I have a wealth of enthusiasm for teaching and a huge collection of happy reviews from my students, I am not a qualified teacher, just a very dedicated floral designer with an immense love of what she does and willingness to show others how some of it is done!

WORKSHOP MENU

Confetti Crown Workshop - a great workshop for hens and friends to create a pretty crown from fragrant rose petals - if the crown fits, wear it - go out for a high tea, throw a party, have a bbq on the beach, or a mini photoshoot in my garden, or yours - happy memories!

Willow & Hydrangea Heart Workshop - create a willow wreath out of willow rods from the Somerset Levels. After enveloping it in tiny rice lights, I will show you how to beautifully embellish your heart with dried hydrangea flowers to produce a beautiful decoration for your home or lovingly handcrafted gift for a friend.

Traditional Christmas Christmas Wreath Workshop - choose from a short or long traditional make, an eco wreath or a luxury one - you can even learn to make your own wreath ring before going on to turn it into a festive cracker to put on your front door

Introduction to Garland Making Workshop - once you have mastered the techniques of making garlands, you will be able to go on create them all year round and for a multitude of uses. Depending on the season, I can show you how to create a stunning garland and decorate it - taking home a wealth of knowledge and a very fine garland!

Spring Floral Design in a Ceramic Vase Workshop - because of its egg-shaped design, this design lends itself to Spring and Eastertime - the vase can be suspended by a chain and hook (which come with the vase) or decorated with a bow - master a few floristry skills in creating a floral design. The vase can be refilled at will and displayed in your home or garden for many years to come.

Easter Egg Wreath Ring. Learn to create this beautiful wreath with willow rods from the Somerset Levels with a decoration of fresh moss and flowers which will last all over the Easter period on your front door.

Flower Crown Workshop - another fabulous workshop for hens and friends, birthday bashes, etc. Let your creativity flow with an array of different flowers to make gorgeous crowns. If you have somewhere to go afterward, or can arrange a little "photoshoot", the memories of these short lived but very wow creations will live on, and on ....

Whoville Tree Festive Workshop - based on the story of The Grinch, these "trees" are very popular in the States. They last so well that they are best made right at the beginning of December so that they can be enjoyed until the New Year - a fun creative workshop which will make you very popular with the children when you get home.

Floral Cupcake Design Workshop - choose from a small or large, or more than one cupcake design - this workshop can take as little as one hour to teach - is great for all kinds of events and incorporates a few basic floristry skills which will really assist in flower arranging.

Pumpkin Workshop Learn lots of floristry skills in this floral workshop where you will create a beautiful floral design to fit into a pumpkin just in time for Halloween.

Autumnal Wreath - create a ring wreath from stripped willow rods and go on to decorate it with preserved and dried foliages, seeheads and other little treasures. Your willow ring will last for years and years and the decoration can be revamped or renewed at will having learned the skills.

Fresh Floral Festive Table Centre Workshop - come and learn how to make a beautiful table centre for your festive table, with or without candles. Designing in oasis and using evergreens will enable you to replace any spent flowers so all get-togethers over the Christmas period can enjoy your beautiful creation

The perfect gift for mums for Mothering Sunday.  During the workshop she will learn lots of floristry skills to enable her to hand tie her own bouquet of flowers which will sit perfect in a quirky "vase" (this is being kept under wraps until the day). 
Three hours of fun creativity with other mums at the end of which mum will take home her very own floral design for her own special Sunday.

THE QUEEN'S PLATINUM JUBILEE FLOWER CROWN WORKSHOP​

Be Jubilee ready with a beautiful flower crown to wear to the celebrations you attend over this super long holiday.  I will putting on two hour long workshops for up to 6 people.  Using red satin, white gypsophila and blue cornflower petals you will take home a unique floral crown which will last throughout the celebrations  (with a little tlc which I will teach you) and afterward it will dry to perfection to become a little keepsake of a very special occasion

Using fresh foliage and flowers in a biodegradable wreath ring learn a some floristry skills to create a beautiful fresh centrepiece for your Christmas table (or that of your friends or family if you are not hosting yourself - what an gorgeous gift to bring to the table!).  I will have candles to purchase if you wish to have one in the centre of your floral ring but do feel free to bring your own - or purchase one after the workshop that truly complements your bespoke design. p.s.  As this workshop is so close to Christmas Day you can be sure your flowers will last over the Christmas period - maybe even bringing in the New Year.
